I’m a military spouse, former Registered Nurse, and the creative mind behind Love and Lettering by Katie. My journey into entrepreneurship wasn’t exactly planned, but like many military spouses, I learned to pivot along the way. What started as a small side project has turned into a business filled with products designed to inspire, uplift, and let’s be honest, make you laugh when you need it the most.
I believe words have power — whether they’re bold and empowering, soft and encouraging, or a little sassy (because sometimes you just need that energy). My shop is all about creating pieces that speak to your heart, remind you that you’re not alone, and bring a little extra joy to your everyday life. Running a business as a military spouse means adaptability is key, and I’ve built mine to move with me. From late-night brainstorming sessions to prepping for PCS moves, this business is more than just a job — it’s my passion and purpose!

Hand Lettering has always been my creative escape, turning simple words into something special. I also love experimenting with watercolors, acrylic paints, and digital design, blending different mediums to create pieces that feel both personal and unique.
MILITARY SPOUSE
I’m a “seasoned milspouse,” having navigated 17 years of military life, 10 addresses, and 8 states. I just completed another cross-country move, so I know the strength, resilience, & community that come with this life.
